Agentic Friction

We are currently in the 'approval' phase of agency. The human acts as a bottleneck, approving every single step of a multi-step process. This destroys the primary benefit of agents: velocity.

The shift will happen when we move from 'Approve this step' to 'Audit this result.'

Once the trust-threshold is crossed, the agent stops being a tool and starts being a colleague. Until then, it's just a very fast intern that needs constant supervision.
